My clients often thank me for “seeing” and accepting them as they are, honoring their story, and caring for their pace and path toward healing. My therapeutic approach is rooted in the belief that everyone has a unique life experience and identity, and that everyone is capable of change for the better. In sessions, we go on a tandem bike ride, exploring together through your eyes and vantage point, the best way for healing and positive change in your life. I help people live the most authentic version of themselves while navigating life’s toughest battles. I’ll teach you healthy coping skills, grounding strategies, and mindfulness techniques. From there, we can look at more uncomfortable thoughts and feelings so that you can gain insight and the power to change your experiences and circumstances.
I received my master’s in Counseling and Art Therapy at Adler University and my bachelors in Psychology from UIC. I am trained in Adlerian theory, CBT, and ACT (Acceptance & Commitment Therapy) and will take an integrative approach based on a clients’ wants and needs.
